"Time To Stand" (Keynote -
1hr)
Most people live their
whole lives on their "BUTS."
Our "BUTS" are those excuses
that hold us back from doing
the things we would like to
or need to in
life. "I would like to
get in shape 'BUT' I don't
have the time, energy,
patience, etc." "Time
to
Stand!" is a powerful
presentation that outlines
where our "BUTS" come from,
why they control us, how to
get off of them, and how to encourage others to
join us in STANDING.
Audiences are taken on a
journey through human
potential, using emotional
stories from Sean
Stephenson's life. Predicted
not to survive at birth
because of a rare bone
disorder that stunted his
growth and caused his bones
to be extremely fragile,
Sean has triumphed in life with the
power of STANDING.
"From Where You Stand"
(Workshop - 1hr 30 min)
Imagine a program where
student leaders could learn
how to implement the
principles of STANDING into
their organizations, campus,
and lives. Getting
students off their BUTS is
the main focus of this
HIGHLY INTERACTIVE
presentation. Through
discussion and activities,
Sean applies the STANDING
lessons from, "Time to
Stand!" directly into the
lives of your student
leaders. This
program takes an in depth
look at the real BIG BUTS on
your campus. "From
Where You Stand" cuts
students loose from
the insecurities that are
weighing them down. As
a board certified therapist,
Sean uses humor and
compassion to develop a
safe and controlled
environment where students
can discuss real challenges
such as peer pressure, body
image, and stress. The
lessons learned in the
course of this program
will make a positive impact
on the development of your
campus leaders.
